Attorney Bio
Allison Haley concentrates her civil litigation practice in the areas of Medicare Secondary Payer Act Compliance, general liability litigation, and workers’ compensation. She is a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified by the International Committee on Health Care Certification. She speaks nationally on the issue of Medicare Compliance in litigation. She specializes in creating and implementing Medicare Secondary Payer Act compliance protocols for national corporate insurance clients and consulting on bodily injury cases to ensure compliance with Medicare Secondary Payer Act. She also serves on the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals’ Legislative Committee.
Ms. Haley is admitted to practice in the state courts of Minnesota and Federal District Court, District of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. She is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers and also volunteers as an attorney coach for Minnesota State Bar Association high school mock trial competition.
Ms. Haley graduated with honors from University of Minnesota Law School in May 2006. During law school, she represented defendants in Hennepin County as part of the Misdemeanor Defense Clinic, worked on political asylum cases through Asylum Law Project, and was a member of the Environmental Moot Court. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Political Science from University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Before joining O’Meara, Leer, Wagner & Kohl, P.A. as a law clerk in 2005, she was an intern for a District Court Judge in Hennepin County.
