Betsy has experience representing clients throughout the state for over a decade. Prior to practicing, she served as a judicial law clerk in Minnesota's Fourth Judicial District for the Honorable Jack Nordby. Her legal background spans the defense of commercial, corporate, private and insurance clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including personal injury, defamation, premises liability, construction defect, and insurance coverage issues. She has defended clients at the Appellate court as well. Knowing that the legal process can be complicated, she prides herself in finding the best path forward for each Client, based on their individual circumstances.
Betsy has resolved hundreds of disputes through mediation and arbitration. She served as the MDLA No-Fault Committee chair and has spoken on No-Fault defense and Examination's Under Oath extensively. She has also served as an Arbitrator for the AAA.

Outside of law, Betsy believes strongly in using her skills to support her local community. She currently runs a non-profit called Edina A Better Chance, sits on the board for Stages Theater Company and is active in Edina Morningside Rotary.
