Current Openings: Lateral Attorneys
O’Meara Wagner, P.A. is committed to promoting growth of the Firm through our hiring practices. Our Firm has a history of lateral hiring of attorneys. Experienced attorneys particularly appreciate our welcoming and supportive work environment. Because lateral hiring is not a new concept at our firm, new attorneys can expect to be quickly and comfortably integrated into the firm. We are specifically looking for candidates that are interested in leadership roles and a desire to help move the Firm forward for years to come.
O’Meara Wagner is actively accepting applications for the following lateral attorney positions:
(1) Workers Compensation Associate Attorneys. We are looking for experienced litigators to join our active Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. The ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience with an energetic and proactive spirit with the ability to quickly transition to taking the lead in handling active cases. The attorneys considered for this role will be given opportunities to litigate cases immediately, along with options for the development and long-term growth of their practice. A portable book of business is welcomed but not required.
(2) Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney. We are actively looking for an experienced insurance coverage attorney to join our thriving insurance coverage practice group. The ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience counseling insurers on coverage issues and handling insurance coverage disputes. We are seeking candidates with a proven acumen for contract analysis, legal research and writing, and handling all aspects of litigation. Our insurance coverage practice is based in Minnesota, but our attorneys are also active advising clients and handling litigation matters in the states surrounding Minnesota. The attorney's considered for this role will be given an immediate opportunity to draft coverage opinions and coverage positions letters for our insurer clients and handle all aspects of pre-suit and actively litigated insurance-coverage disputes. A portable book of business is welcomed but not required.
The salary range for these positions is $90,000 - $130,000, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other factors common with lateral transitions. We also offer an objective annual incentive plan and discretionary bonuses.
