Brian McSherry served in the United States Marine Corps (Reserve) from 1992 to 1999.  In 2003, he obtained his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Minnesota.  He then attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he was awarded a Dean's scholarship; was on the academic Dean's list; and worked as a volunteer legal assistant to underprivileged citizens and as a research assistant. 

In January 2006, Mr. McSherry joined O’Meara, Leer, Wagner & Kohl, P.A. as a law clerk in the civil litigation practice section.  In 2007, he graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law; was admitted to the Minnesota Bar; and became an associate attorney with the Firm in the civil litigation field.  Mr. McSherry is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Minnesota.  

Mr. McSherry is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Brian was named a  "Rising Star" by Minnesota Super Lawyers magazine in 2016 and 2017.
