O’Meara, Leer, Wagner & Kohl, P.A. Attorneys & Children Participate in Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation – Walk To Cure Diabetes

Minneapolis, MN

This morning, attorneys Jeremy Rosenberg and his son Nathan; and Mark Wagner and his daughter Amelia, participated in the 20th annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk To Cure Diabetes at the Mall of America. Over 20,000 individuals participated in this event.

Nathan's Cure Crew and Amelia's Little Stars combined to raise more than $16,000.00, which will help JDRF achieve their $2.0 million goal for this event.

Ross Marcus, JDRF's MN Dakotas Corporate Development Manager, remarked, “We've come a long way from our first walk twenty years ago, which had around 1,500 people and raised $55,000.00. This year, we are expecting 22,000 people and plan on raising over $2.0 million.

Jeremy Rosenberg said, “Our son Nathan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes about seven years ago and this is our seventh walk. This is a great event and we get a lot of support from our family, friends and our co-workers at Johnson & Condon.  We really appreciate that.”

Mark Wagner continued, “Our daughter Amelia was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was eight months old.  This is our fourth walk, it's a great event and we are excited to be here.  We're happy to be involved and are blessed to have our co-workers as great supporters of the JDRF cause.”
