Sarah Hunter elected to serve as Hennepin County Bar Assn representative to the MN State Bar Assn

OLWK is happy to announce associate attorney, Sarah Hunter, has been elected by the Hennepin County Bar Association to serve as its representative on the MSBA Council, the governance body of the Minnesota State Bar Association.  She will be serving alongside Judge Edward Wahl, Hennepin County District Court, in this three-year term.  The Council serves as the board of directors of the Minnesota State Bar Association and implements the policies of the Assembly and oversees management of the MSBA.

Sarah also recently completed and graduated from the HCBA's LINC program, Leaders Impacting the Nonprofit Community.  This series of classes were designed by the HCBA to train today's attorneys to be effective nonprofit board members.  Its objective and outcome is to enhance the strong skills attorneys already bring to voluntary board service to make them more effective at serving the programs and communities they work with.  These skills are vital to both the community we live in and in our everyday practice of law.
